• Residential Swimming Pool Inspections
for London, St. Thomas and surrounding area

A residential swimming pool inspection includes a visual examination of the pool’s readily accessible systems and components. This includes the condition of the deck, coping & pool liner, skimmer, pump, filtration system, heater, electrical and plumbing systems, and safety-related items.

Our pool inspection provides a clear picture of your pool’s condition. This includes recommended repairs and the presence of any safety issues. Your pool should be a fun and safe place for your family to enjoy.

Whether you are buying a home with a pool or want an impartial review of your current pool, our pool inspection provides homeowners, buyers, and real estate agents with a clear picture of the swimming pool’s condition.

We provide meaningful and helpful information about the present condition of your pool and pool equipment and what you should plan to repair or replace.

    What Our Pool Inspection Includes:

    1. Visual Inspection of Pool & Equipment: Our inspector, Mark O’Brien, conducts a thorough visual assessment of all readily accessible pool components, including the pool itself, surrounding area, and equipment.
    2. Backyard Safety Assessment: We prioritize safety by comprehensively reviewing and assessing all backyard elements crucial for pool safety.
    3. Detailed Written Report with Photos: You’ll receive a detailed written report outlining the pool’s current condition, including photos and clear identification of any defects found.

The pool inspection and report are performed in accordance with the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI) Auxiliary Standards of Professional Practice for Residential Swimming Pool and Spa Inspections.

Please Note: Since this is a visual inspection, we cannot determine whether or not the pool has any underground leaks. If underground leaks are a concern we recommend a leak detection company perform a pressure test.

When to Get a Pool Inspection:

A pool inspection is highly recommended when purchasing a new home with a pool, as it ensures the pool is functioning correctly and identifies any potential issues.

Beyond buying a new home, regular pool inspections offer numerous benefits. They provide peace of mind by identifying potential safety hazards and preventing minor issues from escalating into costly repairs. This proactive approach ensures optimal pool efficiency, maximizes water quality, and allows for timely maintenance, preventing future burdens.
